I am making these calendars for Christmas gifts for family. On each month I use photos from the past year taken in that month, design a scrapbook page to mount on the top and then decorate the bottom page. I put in the name of the month, the dates and embellishments appropriate to any holiday or event in that month. Then I write in the names on appropriate dates of family birthdays, anniversaries etc. AS my family is spread out around the US. it is a great way to inculde those far away in more current events. When the year is over they take the scrapbook pages and put them into an actual scrapbook.
The calendar is large and allows lots of room for all you want to add.
I make my own wall calendar every year and love this one. It is great quality, holds up all year long, and is easy to decorate. I put 2" strips of patterned paper top & bottom (a different one each month), cut names of the months out with a die cut machine or Coluzzle and stamp (or write) the numbers. I add a narrow strip of cardstock with the days of the week stamped or written on it. At the end of the year, I cut them to 12x12 size and make a companion layout using the same PP and photos highlighting that month. Of course you could add ribbon, flowers, etc. but it looks great just with the PP.
Perfect to create a year of memories. I love creating a year of precious memories. At the end of the year I will take the pages apart and put them in an album. It will be fun for the kids to look back at previous years.
THIS IS A WONDERFUL ITEM...I HAVE BROUGHT 5. I MAKE THEM FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS..THESE ARE JUST GREAT I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT IT....
Great plain canvas to create a wonderful scrapbook calendar, also light weight enough that once the pages are added it is not to heavy to hang.
