The Overall Idea is great, but once you add pages and photos the calendar get very HEAVY. Filling in all of the days took a lot longer than I expected as well. There are no months or days pre-filled and it does not come with a calender for any year, a small one page of all 12 mths would have saved me from having to look them up online, would have made my review a 4 instead of a 3. Otherwise page space is ample and days are large enough to write important things, I probably would research others if I wanted to buy again.
I make my own wall calendar every year and love this one. It is great quality, holds up all year long, and is easy to decorate. I put 2" strips of patterned paper top & bottom (a different one each month), cut names of the months out with a die cut machine or Coluzzle and stamp (or write) the numbers. I add a narrow strip of cardstock with the days of the week stamped or written on it. At the end of the year, I cut them to 12x12 size and make a companion layout using the same PP and photos highlighting that month. Of course you could add ribbon, flowers, etc. but it looks great just with the PP.
I have made 3 so far and some of my friends followed making a few themselves. People at work come into my office to see what i did for each month. Gave some to my parents for christmas and they loved it and are keeping them after the year is over as an album. I will be making more using this product as it survives trips to classes everyweeks when i make them.
Perfect to create a year of memories. I love creating a year of precious memories. At the end of the year I will take the pages apart and put them in an album. It will be fun for the kids to look back at previous years.
I would highly recommend this product. I make calendars every year as gifts. This is my first year using these calendars, and I loved the fact that I did not have to trim my paper to fit.

Great plain canvas to create a wonderful scrapbook calendar, also light weight enough that once the pages are added it is not to heavy to hang.
GREAT BASE PRODUCT TO MAKE CALENDARS FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS. STURDY AND ROOMY. I TRY TO GET THE MATCHING KAREN FOSTER PAPERS, RUB ONS, ETC.

Brands 
The calendar, except for the cover pages, is made from medium cardstock. The cover pages are a little heavier. All the pages are marked in a calendar grid. No numbers for the days or years, You add these with stickers or write in.
