Glue dots 1" glue lines are one product that I always keep within reach. I do not typically like dealing with messy glues, so this adhesive is perfect for those who feel the same.
Glue lines work great for narrow spaces where your tape or tape runner might be too wide, such as the back of ribbon or rick rack. They work especially well on the back of letters like chipboard monograms, where you need extra adhesive to hold the sometimes heavy embellishment into place. Also, the fact that the roll is perforated to each line eliminates the need to break out your scissors when you use the glue lines.
I have been using this product for quite some time and have yet to find something it won't stick to.

i have sworn by glue dots since i discovered them, but had not seen the glue lines until i ordered them from scrapbook.com. they are ah-mazing! i love them even more than the traditional craft glue dots because they come on a clear roll that has each glue line on a perforated strip. the clear roll allows you to see exactly where you're positioning the strip on your photo, and the perforated area makes this fool proof so you don't accidentally stick an extra glue line on while you're trying to remove the backing. do yourself a favor and order more than one, because you're going to find yourself throwing away all your other adhesives in favor of these!

I decided to give these a try for some of my skinner chipboard alphas and a little extra hold when I staple on ribbon.
It works great for me because the glue dots I had to fold over on the skinny letters and it made it bumpy.
I like the little proforated sheets they dispense on too!

This is another of my must have inventory list!!!. This is how I adhere ribbon to my layouts. And it does not take alot of it to do the job. Ribbon, Magnets, metal embellishments are just a few of the items I have used this for. Great buy and I cannot scrap without it

These glue lines are very strong but if you screw up and drop the thing you've put them on in the wrong place you can finesse it, get it up and move it. Just be careful to REALLY press the ends down onto chipboard before you take off the little plastic piece!
