I have tried them all....NOTHING is as good in a dispenser as this is. It doesn't dry out over time like other "mono" adhesives. It rolls very smooth and even leftys can use this unlike other "dot" rollers. It really sticks unlike some and it's clear adhesive (not tape) so it can go over small items and there is no residue that shows on the sides or in intricate cuts. The dispenser refills snap in and out easily and because you throw the cartrige out and not just the empty roll all the residue that could build up over time is tossed too so your dispenser doesn't get all goopy (technical term). The only other thing I keep on hand is glue dots just for the really heavy things, but for everything else this is my #1. Once you try it you'll never need to try anything else!!!!

I had tried at least a dozenother brands of adhesive over the years. I received one of these a year or more ago, free with an order from sb.com. I tried the product out and found the ease of application to be SO much easier than any of the other styles/brands I had used. It rolls adhesive out smoothly without skips. Additionally, I love the shape/grip on the product's dispenser, very easy to hold. Replacement of refills is a 5 second process, no possibility of messing up (as I did with another major brand MANY times). I would not even try out a free sample of something else now, I am so happy with this. I have used nothing but this since I first tried it.

This is my favorite adhesive by far. I have a different adhesive roller that I keep temporary adhesive in, but if it every breaks, I will get a second of these for the temporary too. The adhesive lasts - a little goes a long way as they say! I also like that it contours to my hand very well and isn't too large. The flip top also protects the tape from breakage, pulls, etc. The replacement adhesive can be pricey and sometimes I feel like I go through it so fast, but that is about the only downside!

What I like the most about this adhesive is the easy-to-reload dispenser. The old one just pops out and the new one pops right in! No feeding ribbons, and no tearing off ribbon strips. And the dispensing tip has a flip-top cap that keeps it from catching on stray objects. I accidentally dropped mine once and the cap broke off, but no worries...the refills each have their own caps. I agree that it's a little pricier, but worth your buck, you're paying for the permanence and ease of use.

I have tried other similar roller adhesives and the Kokuyo dot roller is the best amongst them. It rolls on smoothly, does not tear or gum up like others do. The only con is the price. However, if you buy the refills in multi-pack, it brings the price down. I've learnt to use as little as possible in order to stretch it out.. it works because the adhesive is strong enough such that little dabs are enough to hold a cardstock down.
