I just went back to look at the description for this item and the reviews.
I did not see any mention of the fact that this block is hollow.
It is mentioned in a question about this product, but I did not see that until after my purchase.
I have never used a hollow acrylic block for stamping.
I will need to work with it for a while. It will probably be fine, but it feels very different from the blocks I have used.
Ok this product is awesome, I love the gridlines and the raise edge so you have something to grip onto. Unfortunately I am horrible at looking at inches and imagining it in my head so it was a little larger then what I was needing for the stamps that I ordered but I was still able to make it work. :)
This block is a must have for any scrapbooker, cardmark or even artists that paints etc. It has room for your bigger stamps.
I love the size of this stamp block, very useful tool specially the gridlines.
I need someting bigger and now I have it.

I love this block. It's very light weight, you can hold on to the edges and see through it for alignment. I was skeptical when it arrived but I like it very much.
I needed this size for a specific stamp, my only issue is that it is not a traditional acrylic block. I would prefer that it was. But for the function it's ok. I don't like the edge around the sides, making a clean print is hard, you have to run hand inside block for a print & it often gets muddied up in that process.

I've seen this block in a local crafts store. I noticed its hollow on one side. How does this work with clear acrylic stamps?

The block has a flat side to adhere the clear acrylic stamp for use.
