I love the Heidi Swapp cb alphas. They are a great size and color. The adhesive really stays put. It's a large package, so you can use them on lots of projects.
I really like the size and font of these letters. They take alteration (paint, distressing, ink) very nicely, or are pretty to use as-is. Another reviewer noted that they don't stick very well; I actually like this, as it means I can peel them off their backing paper and move them around on a LO before I decide where to place them permanently.
These letters are super cute but they are rather difficult to snap out of the pack without bending them and the layers of chipboard start to peel apart. They look great, but I was disappointed in the quality.
I think of all the HS chipboard alpha's I've tried (and that is quite a few!), these are my favorite. The font looks particularly good on a page with curves or circles. And the color is wonderful on natural browns, pinks, blues, and most greens. I have altered them with paint, embossing powder, distressing, and they always look great. The only problem is that the adhesive which comes on the item is useless, absolutely useless. Plan to use another adhesive product to adhere these to the page and I believe you will be satisfied.
I have some of these alphas and I hate them! They are really hard to punch out and mine keep separating (the back and front layers of chipboard separate)...NOT the type of quality you'd expect from Heidi Swapp items. I say, stick with Thickers!
