The more I use Glue Dots, the more I appreciate them. I use the mini size. If I need to adhere something larger than a mini can hold well, I just use two or three. That seems more convenient to me, than storing separate boxes in multiple sizes.
Glue Dots hold very well. I was frustrated at first, because I am so used to adhesives that are repositionable for a time, but once I learned how to use these, I find that I like them a lot. I use them for adhering buttons, and other embellishments that have more mass than paper or cardstock. They seem to work best on smooth surfaces, rather than fuzzy ones, but they also can be stacked, and they kind of mold themselves to fit into curves and valleys.

These are so handy to use and definitely worth every penny spent. They work well to adhere all sorts of embellishments (buttons, flowers, chipboard, metal, ribbon, felt, foam, etc.) that other adhesives don't work too well for. The size is great because they are so small that you can use them on almost any embellishment and they won't protrude from underneath, plus if they do they are clear and not very noticeable. I also love that they are super sticky! I've used other brands and this one holds things together MUCH better than the competing brands. Very easy to use and achieve great, strong, long lasting results!

This is probably the most used of all my adhesive collection which, sadly, is quite large!! They stick to absolutely everything and absolutely everything then sticks to, well, absolutely anything! And their tiny size means that you can use them on the smallest item but also use smaller amounts of adhesive on larger items. ALso, I have cut them in half to make them even smaller - obviously with the clear backing still attached! They will always be on my shopping list!

When I was putting together my first scrapbook page, I was trying to adhere some ribbon, and I tried liquid glue. Even after the glue dried, you could see it through the ribbon, because the ribbon was so thin and/or transparent, I guess. These mini glue dots worked great, though. They keep the ribbon on the page, they don't show, and they were very easy to use. They were the first adhesive I bought, and they're my favorite.

I love using glue dots, and use them more than any other kind of adhesive on my los. For some reason the American ones are much better than the ones we get here in the UK (its only that postage that upsets me!). They come away from the backing paper smoothly, and the variety of glue dots available means that there is one for every job.
These mini ones are exactly that - tiny, and hide nicely behind what you're sticking!
