Brilliance Archival Ink Pads by Tsukineko are excellent for most glossy surfaces, including vellum, photos and coated papers. Brilliance Ink is also perfect for stamping on or applying directly to ordinary paper, tissue, wood and other porous surfaces. The inked area of the pad is 3" by 1.75" but the raised pad makes it easy to ink any size of rubber stamp. Brilliance ink is acid-free, fade-resistant, non-toxic and child-safe.

  • Shows up only on non-porous surfaces, and does so beautifully!

I have a whole collection of Brilliance ink pads in various colors, and this color Moonlight White was one that I didn't really like or use much. That was, until I discovered its secret. It works only on non-porous / glossy paper! I've tried using it on very dark paper and seemingly NOTHING showed up. Then one day I was playing with stamping on clear acrylic sheets, and voila! Not only did the shimmering white show up beautifully, it also made the sharpest and most detailed impression among other colors I tried such as Planet Platinum and Graphite Black. I experimented with the same stamp, so it's not an issue with the stamp design. I figure this color has a finer ink than the other colors. Since then I've played with this color more, and my latest technique is using a Ranger ink blending foam to buff it over gesso and glossy photos. It creates a subtle pearlized sheen that you can't achieve easily with mediums like sprays. It goes exactly where you want it, and is mess-free too! Was choosing between 4 or 5 stars, decided on 4 because of its limitation in not being able to be used on patterned papers.

    My Favourite White Ink Pad

There's a reason that Kelly Purkey uses this ink on all her creative stamping projects, it's the best! It stamps clearly, it goes on smoothly to all surfaces, and it looks super sharp. It's pretty fast drying for white ink (but still be careful when letting it dry, it does take longer than other colours). I love stamping with this ink right onto photos, it looks so great and gives me the opportunity to stamp on my dark photos too. Highly recommend, this is my fave white ink out there!

    Archival Pigment Ink Moonlight White

I like it but it was not what I wanted for stamping purposes.

  • Im changing my block rubber stamps to be cling stamps and I want to stamp the image onto the static cling EZ mounting foam. Since my rubber stamps have the grey foam, my EZMount is just the black. Will this white ink work to stamp an image onto that? Also, will it be permanent?   By: Tamara78 (11-Sep-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Yes, I think so. It claims to dry fast on vellum, glossy cardstock, shrink plastic, photos and acetate so it should be permanent on black EZMount foam. Your image will be reversed though and it will have to be cut in a weird way. You can also buy EZ mount in grey and white too, and stamp the image in Archival Black. I found it easier to stamp out a sample sheet (guide) on copy paper to match up with each cling binder page because that's how I store my rubber stamps. I doubled each copy of my guide so I could put one in front of each cling binder page and one in a separate duotang that I have in my drawer for reference. It's easier to see what I have, rather than flipping through all the cling binder pages beccause the stamps sometimes come loose and fall out. I can usually get 5 Crafter's Companion cling binder pages into one of their binders with the foam mounted rubber stamps attached. So I have 6 large binders and 6 mini binders or thereabouts. Hope that helps. By: 123_Tamara (12-Sep-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
