I am very excited about this pick. I no longer have to worry about stabbing myself with my craft pick, or having it roll off the table and needle-first into my foot (happened!). Not only is this pick safe, but it's very comfortable to use, too. I no longer struggle when trying to put a hole in my paper because this tool is very easy to grip and hold on to. A bonus is that the pick can be extended to various sizes. It's perfect when all I want is a tiny prick, and not a bigger hole (or visa versa). I can't believe that this great tool is only $5!
As long as I've been scrapping, I have had a paper piercer that always had the protective cover come off, that would poke me and my scrapping supplies, and that was difficult to carry to crops.
Then I attended a crop and the woman sitting across from me showed off her paper piercer and I was in love! I just had to have it. The best thing besides the safety aspect is that you can adjust how much the paper piercer sticks out. It's great. So happy to have such a small tool that makes such a big difference.
I purchased this months ago when I first started scrapbooking. Not knowing a lot about tools, this looked like a good idea. IT WAS! I was very surprised in how sturdy this product was as well. My friend who has been scrapping for years really liked it because it was retractable. I like the fact also that I don't ever get poked by it when it is stored with my other tools. Love the safety factor! One of my favorites!
This little pick is just a handy gadget to have around! I use it for getting brads started through scrapbooking projects. I use it for getting small pieces of cut objects, which have been glued to exactly the right place on a project. It retracts easily and I keep it handy and find that I just use it a lot more than I thought I would. The more that I use it, it becomes more of a habit to grab.
I purchased the retractable craft pick at a Scrapbook Weekend event and it is the best tool I own. It is so easy to use and safe with the retractable pick. It is the best tool for brads to place them anywhere on your page! Not sure how I created pages with out it. I have purchased one for my sister for her birthday.
