Distress Inks by Tim Holtz are perfect for adding a vintage, stained, or aged effect to your altered books, scrapbook pages, cards and ... Full Description & Details.
Distress Inks are my favorite inks to work without. I have been a fan for years but after learning a few new techniques recently I am hooked even more. So much more that I needed to complete my collection. With this purchase I now have all 36 colors- I still need a few of the reinkers though. Tim has a lot of browns in this line but they are different and almost every project looks better with a little brown added to the edges. I love that the variety of browns keeps my projects from getting boring and keeps me from getting bored. I love the properties o Distress when water is added. Makes them unique.
I love the color of the Brushed Corduroy stamp. I've used it on my family tree album and it was exactly the color I needed for that. I used it with clear stamps and it comes off of the clear stamp evenly and the clean up is very easy. I also used it to distress paper that I used as an embellishment. It's a great ink and I plan on getting more of this color and trying some of the others in the future.
This inks are the best! They come in a lot of colors and they're perfect for inking paper. One of the things I love the best too is that if you use this ink on a rubber/clear stamp you get this really great aged look. i just LOVE these!!!
I love Distress Ink pads-and Brushed Corduroy is probably tops on the list for me! It is a great neutral to have on hand and the color is fantastic for achieving that vintage look-highly recommend adding this to your ink collection!
I love this brand of distressing ink. I use this color on just about everything.
The pad is nice and juicy and you can always get ink to remoisten. I think its great and you can just stack them up to store.
