The EZMount Static Cling Mounting Foam is the ultimate mounting foam for stampers. If you love unmounted stamps for the easy storage capabilities, but hate the pain of trying to mount them, this is the product for you. The foam is specifically-engineered to ensure that it will bond with the rubber stamp permanently. Just pull the blue liner that comes over the edge, stick your unmounted stamp on the super sticky foam and cut out around it. Once it's applied, your stamps will be ready to use with an acrylic block. Never mount a stamp again - it will be ready and waiting to stamp over and over again. The other side of the foam sheet has a static cling surface. The smooth mount cushion ensures a vacuum seal is created between your stamp and the block. In each package, you'll receive one 8.5" x 11" sheet. This foam is 1/16" thick.

    GREAT STUFF!!

Back in "the day", I was buying the "sticky" stuff from another company which didn't work -- at least not for a long period of time, and it was hard to tell which side to adhere to the stamp.

EZ MOUNT STAMP N STORE -- THIS STUFF IS WONDERFUL. If you want to save space on all those WOOD BLOCKS that take up a ton of shelving; this is the way to go! LOVE IT. Will be buying a bunch more as my conversion continues.

    So easy and works great!

I had unmounted red rubber stamps and very easily backed them with this product. It was so easy, in fact, that I took all my wood block mounted stamps off their mounts and turned them into cling stamps. Sure saves me a lot of space. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

    Fantastic Mounting Foam

I couldn't find mounting foam at any of my local craft stores so I turned to scrapbook.com as I have many times in the past. I now have all of my unmounted stamps on cling foam and am so happy with this product. It IS very sticky, but I know that my stamps will likely never come off the foam. Stamps cling very well to acrylic blocks, too.

Converts wood block stamps to cling stamps

I just finished converting all my old wood block stamps to cling stamps using both 1/16 and 1/8 inch mounting foam. I can now use all my stamps in my MISTI. This product worked as promised. I would like to pass on some tips, though, to make the process easier. Since the adhesive on the foam is VERY sticky, you must use a pair of non-stick coated scissors otherwise you will become very frustrated. I tried using craft knives and my best fiskars scissors but the foam was very difficult to control. I bought a pair of Tim Holtz Tonic Studios titanium-coated serrated scissors and this made all the difference in the world. These scissors made cutting the foam much easier— I wouldn’t have finished my project without them. They cleaned up easily with Goo be Gone.

If you are using a MISTI with the black stamping pad in place, you will probably want the thinner foam. Even then, the door of the platform will not close completely. The thicker foam works okay without the stamping pad but I thought the impression wasn’t as good though the difference was very insignificant. I ended up using both thicknesses and will just play around with how I pad each stamp individually. Either size will work equally well with acrylic blocks.

    Mount your own stamps

Unmounted stamps are less expensive to purchase so this product is a good way to save money. It arrived safely and well packed. I prefer my rubber stamps without wood because it's easier to see where to place the stamp. I often microwave the stamp off wood for that reason and EZ Mount is the product to use to prepare your stamp for an acrylic block.

    Static cling mounting foam

    Great stuff!
Since I have so many wood stamps, taking up so much room I am in the process of removing the wood from the rubber and using the cling mount foam to turn them into stamps able to mount on clear blocks.
Since I have so many I will soon have to reorder the cling mount foam to do all my wood stamps.
The best part is this order came in no time so that I can get organized.
    Thank you

Not as affective as the thicker sheets

I had originally thought these were the thicker rubber, but these are the ones that I meant to indicate as harder to stick to the acrylic blocks. The thicker sheets stick much easier, but these thinner sheets are easier to use on small rubber stamps because it is easier to cut around small rubber stamps.

    Static Cling Mounting Foam

I have a set of unmounted rubber stamps I purchased at a convention several years ago. I thought I would mount them on wood, but came across this product suggestion. It was easy to use and the static cling foam doesn't take up much storage space. I was impressed with the product.

When taking my stamps off the wooden block, sometimes the backing comes off too leaving the stamp very limp and flat. What am I doing wrong and should I use 1/8 or 1/16. Also the foam seems so heavy, the stamp will not fit on my misti.   By: User (31-May-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I use the thicker foam when remounting my stamps, whether or not the backing is on the rubber after I have removed it from the wood. I feel the thicker mounting foam gives a little more cushion and makes a better image when I stamp. If the backing stays on the rubber, make sure the whole piece of backing is on it, not just here and there. Large, heavy stamps can be a problem on the Misti after they have been remounted to foam. I have heard you can use repositionable tape runner to help those large, heavy stamps adhere better to the Misti but I have not tried that yet. • Which to use? The 1/8 or 1/16? Thank you   By: ticket645 (19-May-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I've used both, depending on the size of the stamps I'm mounting on it. If it's a small stamp (say, the size of a penny or smaller, or a sentiment that might be long but not tall) I used the 1/16". For larger stamps I think the extra cushion helps you get a better image. • I've only used these for the stamps w/o backing. It might be just fine. By: teachers (29-Mar-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
