Do you love wooden stamps but dislike the amount of space it takes to store them? We do too! The EZ Mount Stamp N Store Static Cling Mounting Foam for Stamps by Sunday International is your storage solution! The foam is specially engineered to ensure a bond with rubber stamps permanently; once adhered your stamps will not be repositionable.

Contents:

  • One sheet

Dimensions: 8.5” x 11”

You can now easily convert your wood stamps to cling in a pretty easy process! Simply pull the blue liner that comes over the edge for easy application, place the unmounted stamp on the super sticky foam, cut around your stamp and then adhere to an acrylic block. The other side of the foam features a static cling surface, it creates a good vacuum seal between the stamp and the acrylic block.

Tips:

  • After adhering your stamp to the foam, brush talcum powder around your stamp on the exposed adhesive foam. This will help reduce the amount of adhesive that gets on your scissors.
  • Keep stamps stored in a cool area.

Features of the EZ Mount Stamp N Store Foam:

  • Space saver
  • Lightweight
  • Strong adhesive
  • Permanent
  • Affordable
  • You won’t know what to do with all of your extra space, perhaps buy more stamps!

Now you no longer have to find and purchase expensive storage solutions for your huge collection of wood stamps, this foam is a great value and will have your stamps organized and simplified in no time at all!

Here’s what Scrapbook.com customers are saying about the EZ Mount Stamp N Store:

A must buy item for custom stamp makers!

“I have been searching and searching for a product like this. I make my own custom clear stamps and have never been happy with the double sided tape to hold them to the block. This product is just the thing! Clings great and then peels off the block when done. I will continue to purchase this product and highly recommend.” – busycrafter

EZ conversion of wood mount stamps to cling mount

“I purchased the 1/8 inch thick EZ mount cling foam to convert my wood mount stamps to cling mount to save space and make them easier to find. The conversion was fairly easy. I read several reviews and tips for using the EZ mount foam and found that for me it works best if I remove the stamp from the wood block and foam leaving just the rubber part then trace the stamp onto the backing paper and cut before removing the backing paper. This made it less sticky on my scissors. I also found that I could easily remove the adhesive from my scissors with a baby wipe. The adhesive on the EZ mount foam is strong and holds the foam to the rubber stamp very well. The cling side is amazingly strong as well and there is no need to add anything sticky to it. I purchased 2 sheets and was able to do 10 stamp sets, so about 5 sets per sheet depending on the size and number of stamps in the set. I will need about 10 more sheets to finish my project, but it is going well so far!” – Bonnie Gunn

I can finally be rid of wood blocks

“I’m so happy to have found this product. I’m in the process of removing my older rubber stamps from the bulky wood blocks and mounting them with this foam so that I can use acrylic blocks, my Misti and my Stamparatus. I have already used several stamps I have mounted with this foam and they work perfectly. I also invested in a cutting tip for my hot fuse tool. This makes cutting the foam a breeze. I started with scissors and although that works ok, the heat tip is so much easier and cleaner.” - aupony

    Wonderful Space Saver!

I love wooden stamps but hate the large amount of space needed to store them. When I saw this product on a podcast I knew this was the answer to my prayers.

When they arrived, very quickly I might add, I was so excited. I went to my scrapcorner and immeditally started pulling my stamps apart~Bad Idea~one day I will learn to read directions first=) But once I got everything together and did as I was told, everything worked great.

I had a large bag and a few boxes full of wood mounted stamps so I purchased 4 sheets to get me started. 85% of my stamps have been converted and only one sheet has been used. AWESOME product.

I use StazOn black ink to stamp my image on the cling side of the foam. The sticky side is REALLY sticky so I have to clean my Xacto knife often. Sometimes I use scissor but find that they tend to cut at an angle. My stamped image does not always line up perfectly with the rubber stamp but its a good guide and allows me to quickly find exactly what Im looking for.

Now instead of storing my rubber stamps in a disorganized bag or box, they are in clear CD cases, organized and easy to get to. The best part, they take up at least 200% less space then they did before! Oh, and some of the wooden blocks have been converted to new tools, such as a ink dabber by adding a little velcro and some felt. Adding a few holes with a drill , the larger blocks are perfect paint brush holders.

EZ conversion of wood mount stamps to cling mount

I purchased the 1/8 inch thick EZ mount cling foam to convert my wood mount stamps to cling mount to save space and make them easier to find. The conversion was fairly easy. VERY Sticky stuff!

IF you want to make certain that your unmounted rubber stamps stick to a surface, this is it! The only drawback is needing to clean your scissors mid-way through cutting them out. By that I mean, after cutting out 5 or so the scissors needed to be cleaned with fingernail polish remover to get the adhesive off the scissors. There is no question that the material will hold the stamps.

    EZzzzzMount

Only thing that would make this product better is someone to cut my stamps and cling out for me. Works like a charm. Finally got all my loose stamps mounted and use them like I need to. Using this product allows me to add to my stamp collection so EZzzzy and affordable.

    A Great Product

Although wood-mounted stamps will always be my favourite, they are expensive to purchase and bulky to store. Many stamp companies sell unmounted "red rubber" stamps at a fraction of the cost of the wood-mounted versions, which can then be turned into "cling mounted" stamps using this great product. Closely trim the rubber stamp using straight cuts; stick the stamp onto the sticky side of the foam; and cut again using the stamp as a template. The sticky side is very sticky and can "clog" some scissors: Tim Holtz Tonic scissors work well for this. The "cling" side of this product is fabulous - it works brilliantly! I have been using this product for years and can't recommend it highly enough. It's a little bit fiddly and it takes a little bit of time to trim and mount your stamps but the end results are worth it: all the benefits of wood-mounted stamps at a fraction of the cost; easy storage; and easy use (mount onto an acrylic block or onto a MISTI or similar product - so easy!).

    Worked great

This was my first experience with having to attach rubber to cling mount foam. I was very nervous, but the directions were very clearly written and it turned out to be very easy to do.

    Perfect for unmounted stamps

Very easy to use. Make sure you have a good sharp pair of scissors. I stayed away from unmounted stamps for years because I had no idea how to use them and didn't want to bother with using spray glue. These are great. Read the directions and you can't go wrong.

What thickness is best for re-mounting wood stamps ?   By: User (23-Feb-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • It is a personal preference.
Some people like the thinner 1/16th for space saving reasons, esp if they have a large collection. In which case it is like stamping with a clear stamp.
Some like the extra give of the thicker 1/8th.

If you are using a stamp mat, that will give you all the give you need for clear impressions regardless of the cling thickness. By: Firebrand (01-Jul-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I usually order 1/8" to remount my wood stamps to use on acrylic blocks. I seem to get good impressions with that thickness. By: sharon25 (26-Feb-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I store all my rubber cling stamps in clear plastic CD holders that I usually get from Office Depot. With a little forced maneuvering and a pokie- tool or small knife or similar object to get under the CD insert, you can remove the insert and have the full 4 3/4 x 5-in space to stick your stamp on. Is this re-positionable or removable so I can reuse the block? What is the best way to store after removing from the block? So it does not lose it's cling.   By: User (20-Mar-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Once you have mounted your stamps to this EZ Mount Stamp N Store - Static Cling Mounting Foam, the stamps become like any other cling stamp you currently might own. You can store them on acrylic sheets and peel them off when you would like to attach them to the blocks and use them. Hope this helps! • Some of my acrylic clear stamps have lost their "stick"; how do I replace that? This is especially irritating with my alphabet stamps when using my new Misti - - - a letter drops off during the "flip". • Wash the clear stamps with a mild dishwashing detergent then air dry. Works in acrylic blocks too. Oils from your hands and other residue will make them not cling well.
