I use these a lot, mostly doing shimmer spraying. I'm using Perfect Pearls dusts with water and ink, the Tim Holtz way, and the nozzles have never clogged up.
They are small and handy. It's easy to pump, your wrist wont go shaky after five pumps. The mist is really fine, just make sure you don't hold your project too close to the nozzle.
If you have many it will probably not be long until you will want to buy the stand that goes with it. Or, I've seen some really nifty home made ones in the galleries here.
I could complain that it is sometimes hard to direct the spray precisely, since the little vent is almost invisible, but I just love these too much to give them any minus points.

This is a product I never thought I needed. In fact I got 3 for free at a class taught by Tim- he gives away the products after the last class so he doesn't have to haul it all home. I never use them until this spring. I took Creative Chemistry 101 and learned who to make my own mists. Yes I had seen the videos on-line for making knock-off mists but I wasn't interested. I loved the Glimmer Mists I had. But we lost our LSS and now getting a much needed color quickly is impossible. Plus once I saw how gorgeous and custom the home-made mists can be I ordered 3 more Mini Misters and the holder for them with the intention of making more mists. The misters work very well.
I had seen these mini misters used on a video at the Ranger site and wanted to try them. I was surprised at how powerful the spray is. I loved mixing Perfect Pearls with water in the sprayers and creating a shimmering surface to my project. I bought the small pack to try them out, but now I will need to get the large set so I can have lots of colors at hand.
I absolutely love these! The spray is such a fine mist. The container is so small it fits anywhere--perfect for my travel art journal kit. There are so many things you can do with them. Fill with water, re-inkers for color sprays, pearl powder for glimmer sprays--so any things!
PERFECT for making your own mists! fill them with water, add any ink refill (I love tim holtz distress inks, but you can use whichever you prefer) and voilá! you can also use them with water only for water colouring or with perfect pearls.
