This is my first venture into using paints in my scrapbooking. I have always thought I'd like the texture and look of paint on some of my projects, but didn't want to deal with the mess and/or complications of getting it onto my page. I actually saw a youtube video using a "dabber" paint to add some texture and depth to the outside edge of circle punches placed on a page layout and thought I'd give it a try. This paint is not only neat and easy to use, it has a lovely rich texture in appearance. It's easy to control how much or how little you use and the oomph it gave my little circles was just the right touch. If you are hesitant about paints, start with this and I think you'll love the additional option it gives you to dress up elements in your layouts.
well, they are easier than a brush, quick and easy way to get the color or effect you are going for. The white pearl is really lovely and helped to create incredible snowflakes for my decorating this year. The color will be a nice one for valentines, easter, birthday well, lets just say I love the dabbers.
ok, this is a GREAT product, took a class with Tim H. and we used it mix with alcohol ink to color charms, there's a chemical reaction with THE PEARL PAINT ONLY, this doesnt work with gold, silver etc. and its GREAT, drip some pearl/drop in alcohol ink color and heat set, very pretty!
This is the perfect pearly white color and great for winter or wedding layouts or altered projects. The coverage is excellent and there is little to no mess. A paint brush can be dapped into the pot to reach small places.
I used this paint to create a cute chipboard album.
I was pleased with the results and plan to make more
albums.
