Fun to use and a Great buy!

I really like this circle-cutter. After reading the reviews on here, I was a little worried that it might be challenging to use, but I had no problem at all! It's fun to cut with and when you follow the directions others have shared here, it's a breeze!

I can say for sure that this is a MONEY-SAVING tool and well-worth the price (used my 40% off coupon at Joann's). For the price of 1 or 2 circle hand punches, you can make any size circle, rings, and frames. I'm very satisfied with this cutter!

    Pratice Makes Perfect

I love this circle cutter. I've own quite a few, but stopped after buying this one. 1 to 8 inches and everything inbetween. It is easy.

Hold down the orange stopper on top. It holds the paper. Putting you hand on the round base (not the extended piece) grasp on both sides of the cutter. BTW: pressing down on the "stopper" will not help it to cut better. Use an easy hand t and will cut perfectly for you everytime.

It is protable and a must have for everyone.

    Circle Cutter

I really like it!, but wasn't thinking when I bought it that I would need a mat for it. I used my chopping board but it dulls the blades very quickly so.....guess I'm going to have to order a cutting mat. I took to heart what the other reviewers said, and I've had no problems. You just need to experiment with it on scrap paper until you get the hang of it. I have had no problems cutting my pictures out either. Would definitely recommend it.

    Holy Circles, Scrappers!

I know that this product isn't eveyone's favorite, but if you master how to use it, it works great.

First, you have to push down fairly hard on the center spring to make sure that your paper or the cutter doesn't move.

Second, MAKE SURE that you are using the center circle to turn the cutter, NOT the ruler arm/blade! This is the biggest mistake that I have seen people make. This is what is going to cause an uneven cut.

I really like this product and I like the range of circle sizes that you can cut with just a loosening of a wheel. :)

    Not bad... but not great

The fiskars circle cutter... I do like being able to cut many different sizes of circles and not having to make the investment (both in money and storage space) for 5,000 different sized circle punches. But... you are limited to size up to 8 inches... which isn't a problem... until you want a 9 or 10 inch circle. LOL I also do like that there is double blade storage so you a) don't risk cutting yourself from an exposed blade when not in use and b) so you don't lose your replacements, they are always right there. It does take some getting used to when first using it. You really have to push down on that orange circle to keep it stationary while you spin the rest of the piece around to cut your circle (and don't push on that arm, either!)

Overall this circle cutter is "just alright for me, man". (Sorry... couldn't resist the Randy Jackson quote). It gets the job done, but I think there could also be a better answer for someone who hasn't already made the purchase.
