    Jumbo Dauber

Bought six of these and will definetly buy some more. These wash up very good to be used with another color. The sponge is a little stained when using a darker color but it does not affect anything when usng a lighter ink, (when washed properly)

  • I love this!

I've always struggled with how to apply ink and I never knew the solution was out there! This tool applies just the right amount of ink in a soft, blended way. It's easy to use and gave the perfect look I was going for. I cleaned it with soap and water and, while it stained a little, it basically came clean. I love this!

    Great for bokeh

I love these blenders which I've had trouble finding in the big box craft stores. They're so much easier to hold than pieces of sponge, and they make it easy to apply color evenly. I've purchased a half dozen so that I can switch colors and don't have to keep washing them after each application. I just learned about bokeh (making circles of color that look sort of like fuzzy light reflections--not a very good explanation, I know), and these sponges make it quite easy.

    Stencil genius!

I recently started using stencils and this is awesome to apply the ink to a larger surface - because it is larger there are less streaks and the color is more consistent.

    Big is Better!

I like the small daubbers, but love the Big one.
I do some full page stenciling with Dyan Reaveley's stencils (she doesn't to small) and these work well!

    Sponge Daubers are Wonderful

I love my sponge daubers and the jumbo ones work so well. It is easy to sponge a background or even the edge of a paper piece.

  • Easy to Use

These sponges are easy to use, do a nice job of blending your ink while keeping your fingers clean.

What is the approximate size of this dauber? Also, does the ink (or other liquid) stay on the surface of the sponge? Or will the sponge soak up the ink throughout the sponge?   By: User (05-Feb-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The base of the sponge (dauber) where it connects to the plastic holder is about 1-3/8 inches. I have only used the daubers with Distress Inks. I do notice a little residue, I guess you would call it, or ink color on the outer border/edge of the sponge but most of the ink goes on the paper or whatever you are sponging the ink on. When you first use a dauber, you may have to press it on the ink pad for a few seconds for the sponge to soak up a little ink. By: davidcyndiemcc (06-Feb-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
