How to construct a layout using this Floorplan and Scrapbook.com E-Cuts:

1. Download the “Fall for Togetherness” E-Cut and print onto white cardstock.

2. Cut out all four elements, and trim 1/8 inch off of each side of both tags (lengthwise).

3. Choose five photographs, cutting four of them to 2 ½ x 2 ½ squares, and leaving one at 4x6. Ink the edges* of the four square photographs.

4. Mount your 4x6 to the photo mat. You may cut it down if you would like to write a phrase underneath the photograph.

5. Punch holes in both tags and thread 5 inches of fibers through each of the holes.

6. Punch holes in the non-tag element (right side), 1½ inches apart, leaving ½ inch from the top and bottom. Thread the same fiber through the holes and adhere to the back of the element.

7. Begin constructing the page by using a 12x12 light base and cutting a darker, coordinating cardstock to 12x8. Adhere the 12x8 piece ½ inch from the top of the page, flush with the left and right edges. Cut a 12x1½ coordinating strip and adhere it 1 inch beneath the darker piece of cardstock.

8. Adhere the photo mat to the center top leaving a 1 inch border from the top edge. Place the tags on either side of the photo mat, aligning the bottom edges.

9. Place your four square photographs underneath the photo mat, on top of the strip. Keep the squares evenly spaced with a ¼ border around each edge.

10. Place the non-tag element in the bottom right corner. Leave a ¼ inch border around each edge.

11. Add your journaling to the empty space in the bottom left corner.

Tips:

*To ink the edges of photographs and/or elements, hold each mat in your dominant hand and an ink pad in your other, gently swipe the ink pad (in a downward motion) over the paper edges.
