The cool thing about chipboard pieces is. . . they are yours to use as you wish!. First, you can use many of the mixed media products to make them your very own, ie, spritzes, gesso, chalk, paint, even your papered pattern or colored paper that matches your layout. Secondly, as fillers they are indispensable. Sometimes, what's in your stash just doesn't complement your layout, that's when a chipboard piece fits the bill!. Don't like the chipboard as a whole? Sometimes, I use a PORTION of the piece and save the remainder for another project. If you like a piece, then buy it.
