    Fiskars Scissors Sharpener

This item, although it does a good job of sharpening scissors, is quite small. Many people today have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome due to repetitive hand movements and I'm no exception. CTS has left me with limited strength in my grip, so dexterity is an issue. This is a problem especially when holding on tight to a small object. I feared losing my grip on the sharpener while pulling on the scissor's blade and cutting myself. Also, I found the ceramic piece, which sharpens the blades, to be small and may wear away quickly with few uses. It's a wonderful concept but has to be larger to be safer and to be appreciated.

ok for making scissors a bit sharper

Used to sharpen everyday scrapbooking scissors....did a fair job to sharpen them up a bit, smooth out some of the jagged edges. Might just buy new scissors instead.
