Got this at a great deal during the Teach your Friend to Scrapbook month at 8.99. It is the perfect size to take with you and portable enough to use anywhere (I used it sitting on the couch!!) The swing out arm stays put when you need it to and the blade track lifts up so that you can place your paper exactly where you need it! It has plenty of measurements on the trimmer to help you line things up correctly. This is a wonderful trimmer and I am very happy with my purchase.
I have use the 8-1/2 inch cutter for many years and loved it, but it wasn't able to cut 12x12 paper. Now that I am doing scrapbooking, it is important to be able to cut a variety of sizes. I had been looking at 12 inch cutters and was very, very pleased to find just the one I wanted with this Fiskars product. Fiskars is the best when it comes to scrapping needs.
I bought a Fiskars trimmer at Target, and it was great while I was working on small books. But I needed a 12" trimmer now that I am working on a 12x12, they are all $25 or more...this is a GREAT deal. I am absolutely thrilled with it. The swing-out ruler arm is super helpful for measuring cuts. And just like anything Fiskars, it cuts perfectly.
It is not fancy, it doesn't play music, it doesn't expand... But it doesn't need to! It is completely portable and takes up little room on my craft table. The replacement blades are not expensive and it is easy to use. I had had my trimmer for years and have tried other trimmers but this trimmer is the BEST!
I have had one of these for years and friends have been wanting one but can't finde it in stores. It is the best trimmer out there and I love that it has replacement blades, I bought 3 of them for friends and may need more. Your shipping was great and everything got here. Thank you...
