I got my cutting set out this weekend and I love it! It is so easy to use, and very handy. I have a Cricut and a Sizzix, but have to dig them out to use them. I can keep my Fiskars Shape Cutter right on my scrapping table, within reach at all times. I have a couple of other templates that I have purchased. This product is easy to use, instructions are simple, very handy, and very afordable.

This is a wonderful tool and very easy to use. I can not believe I have been using scissors for so long....missing out on this great opportunity to save time and energy.
I just started "formally" scrapbooking a few months ago. I had not even completed my first layouts until this past weekend. I had purchased some Fiskars shape templates individually, but I had not bought the cutting tool. I figured I could just trace the shapes and then cut them out. I started with the circle template. I was shocked to see that although I had traced a perfect circle, the end result was not a perfectly cut circle. I kept having to trim parts here and there because my initial cutting was so uneven. After a while, you don't want to keep trimming for fear there will be nothing left. So, I went out to the store and bought the cutting tool. I wish I had purchased it before, but I had no way of knowing what would happen. Hopefully if a beginner reads this review before trying to cut out circles, if that beginner is as bad as me at cutting nicely, hopefully they will buy the cutter and save themselves the time and trouble that I went through to learn this the hard way.

Just picked this up today as a early christmas gift for my self and I love it. I have been playing with it for the last few hours and I have had no problems. Would and have told a lot of my friends about this already..
The fiskars shape cutter is a great tool to have; however. it does have a slight learning curve. Once you figure out how to adjust the thicknes, it goes pretty smooth. Just make sure that the blade is pointing in the right direction before you begin.
I can see that this is going to be a very handy tool to have. It takes some proactice so us some scrap paper first to get the hang of it. It doewsn't take long to get the hang of it.
I brought this tool back in Feb. I had been looking all around for something to cut circles with. I still have not mastered using it. I think I need to pick it up and play around with it when I am not doing a LO. But the templates you can buy have many functions.

I really do love this tool to make letters! It does take some time to learn how to use it correctly, but once you do it is so fun. I have been using it on quite a few of my layouts recently.
