I've yet to begin construction with the boardbook, but as soon as I opened the package, my mind was flooded with ideas! I've finally decided to use it as a gift for my boyfriend. It's going to be pics and ticket stubs and other paper memorabilia from OSU (Ohio State University) games. There's a total of 7 pages, including front and back cover pages. They are thick chipboard, painted white. The texture is matte and rough enough to immediately start crafting without any doctoring necessary. The box it comes in is brilliant to serve as a small intro as to what could be inside and is made of the same materials as the boardbook. I believe I will be purchasing a few more of these for a few more ideas that I've had while writing this. Happy scraps to everyone! :)
Since my son just graduated from high school, I was looking for a gift I could make for him. When I saw Dedra Long's decorated version of this book, I knew I had to have it!! I'm really getting into minis and I love that this one wasn't the same ole thing I always make. The box not only protects it, it also makes the book stand out. I was able to put some bulk in the book and it still fit back into the box. My son LOVES it!!!
This was a "freebie" with purchase for me and I'm SO GLAD Scrapbook.com offered this a second time as a freebie! I saw the video using this book and wanted one but waited too long during the last "freebie" period and didn't want to pay full price at that time. When I saw they were offering it free again, I jumped at the chance to get it. It is great; and the idea for it is wonderful!
