      Durable & Gorgeous Case

My order processed and arrived quickly. Love this case a ton as it has a gorgeous color and is much more durable than a soft sided case. The telescoping handle and wheels are a huge help since I do not have a dedicated sewing room. I have a nearly 30yr old machine that came with a hard sided carry case and knew immediately when I saw this case I wanted it for my new machines as my old one had done a great job protecting my machine for a very long time and thru many moves.
I bought two of these cases; One for a Brother SE400 (L 15.55" x H 10.94" x W 6.89") and One for a Laura Ashley CX155LA (L 17.32" x H 12.48" x H 8.03"). The CX155LA measurements are a tad bit longer and wider than the specs show can fit. But there appears to be some wiggle room as the suspended padded pouch has extra room between it and the inside of the case. In the inner lining of the hard shell there are zippers that you can open and see the foam padding. In that area it appears you have room to add a little extra padding if needed especially for travel. I will know more within the week when my machines arrive.

      Update:
Received my Brother Laura Ashley CX155LA (L 17.32" x H 12.48" x H 8.03") and it fits beautifully and snugly as well as the quilting table that comes with it, the foot peddle and cord without being difficult to close. I did place the quilting table between the inner suspended bag and the side of the case so that removing the machine would be faster plus it sits well on the side (as I close the case I do lift the table slightly so it's not at the bottom of the case where it curves slightly). There is still room to put some small project items or supplies as well. As for being able to add extra padding if you need it there is some room for it.

Received my Brother SE400 (L 15.55" x H 10.94" x W 6.89") and it fits beautifully but very snugly. All accessories fit as well. I do have to place the machine to the far right to fit the embroidery table. I placed the power and computer cable on the far left side in the space left over from the machine then I placed the embroidery table over them. This kept the lever in the left side of the machine from being pushed down while in the case. With placing them this way they measure about 18" long and I have no trouble zipping the case up. The hoop that came with the case and three more I bought also fit along the sides of the machine. They could also be placed between the suspended inner bag and the side of the case as there is adequate padding to protect everything (they may slip down to the bottom where they case curves slightly, I didn't try them in that space as I didn't need to). There is still a little room for a small project or at least some of your supplies such as thread or bobbin case. As for being able to add extra padding if you need it there is not much room for that with this particular machine.

I would definitely recommend this case. Love the durability, wheels and telescoping handle. The look of this case is a bonus. Treat it well and you will have a great case for a very long time.

I have posted pictures to my gallery to show how my two machines have fit in this case. I hope this helps for those who are curious to the what machines can fit in this case.

This case comfortably holds a 17"L x 13"H, with an 8" base sewing machine
The machine you ask about sounds like it would be too large. By: Paula K (14-Jan-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
