I love the shape of the ladybug, but even after trying it on a flat surface it would not cut the sides of the figure. I tried it with heavy and light stock paper and still it would not cut. I will keep it and use an exacto knife to cut the sides out. I just assumed it would cut it all. I still love the ladybug but will be me more work than I had anticipated.
This punch does not cut all the way, you have to trim the bug loose. Not one of Martha Stewart better punches, I expected better from that product line.
I use a lot of ladybugs and this punch will not cut the sides of the ladybug. I would not recommend this to anyone that uses ladybugs on a regular basis.
