I found this base to be very sturdy and the wheels easy to roll even on carpet. Two of the wheels have locks which worked very well. I bought 30 lipless stackable trays and found the base to easily support them. I am going to be buying another base and 20 more lipless trays to finish putting all my paper in. I love that they don't take up much room.
I read the other reviews and I decided this base was exactly what I wanted; sturdy and durable. I was not disappointed. Tray is very sturdy and so far has worked out great!
This rolling base is a must with the stacking paper trays ! They go together beautifully to store your 12x12 cardstock.
I have two sets of Display Dynamics paper trays - a total stack of 20 - on this rolling base. This makes rearranging my work space easy and makes it super easy to put the whole stack right where I want it when I scrap. In two years I have never once experienced any difficulty moving it, the stack has never tipped or come apart, the base is heavy and solid and provides a firm anchor for the stack. This is one of my all time best purchases, wonderful organizational tool.
I have two base units with twenty paper trays on each. I absolutely love being able to move the unit around the room when needed. One unit is used for pattern paper and the other is for solid color paper. The base is a bit on the pricey side but definetly well worth the convience. I take after my mother for she never left the furniture in the same place in the room very long. God Bless her........
