This book is about scrapbooking what is important... it has totally changed my focus and made me realize how my memories and journaling should be the focus of my pictures. Now I don't have to worry about "catching up" all those field days and bike days at school... I'm changing how I scrap... and feel empowered to do it! I have made a commitment to journal more (I didn't like to before) and take the pictures that illustrate that story... just yesterday I actually pulled the car over, found my camera and took the shot of my 2 little ones in the backseat after my 4 year old said something hilarious about her 2 year old brother. THAT is who they are... that is their life. That is the big picture for me.
I'm a little over halfway through devouring this book and already it has given me a ton of new ideas. The whole approach Stacy has to scrapbooking is refreshing, thoughtful and fun.
Well, my scrapbooking life anyway! I was so inspired by Stacy and her stories. It was so nice to hear that we don't have to be "caught up". It has taken the stress out of scrapbooking and brought back all the joy! THis is a must read for all scrappers!
