I took a class on how to turn an old book into a card saver. You know how we receive cards from our lover, our children, our grandchildren, or that special friend, well we can now save those cards using the ring binder in a neat way and can pull from the shelf to look at them whenever we want to.
It was so much fun to make I decided to make some to sell at a craft show and to give as gifts!!
In my excitement and having been inspired to create a book, I found I wanted ring binders for the pages after the cover was complete. Tim Holtz designs to the rescue. The ring binders were exactly what I needed. I was surprised they are held in with brads and not screws, but now that I know that I will simply plan ahead in my design.

Will it hold 4x6 flash cards?

I have used this item several times for making mini albums. I believe this would work with flash cards 4" x 6". I measured the distance between the rings, measuring from the outer edge of each ring. It comes to approximately 3 1/4". Hope this helps.
