I bought these specifically because of the pretty antique color assortment. But I soon realized that they were really long and thats so that you can fasten things to your LO's and cards and still have room to close them.

LOVE THESE FASTENERS. A LOT OF TIMES I HAVE A THICKER ITEM TO USE ON MY CARDS, BAGS, ETC. THE OTHER FASTENERS ARE JUST NOT LONG ENOUGH. THESE ARE PERFECT.

Excellent for fastening items that need something that will reach through several layers.
I ordered these brads a couple of weeks ago while looking for a long brad to use to hold the book plate on the back of a wooden magazine holder. Because the description said they were "long" fasteners, I expected them to be at least longer than the brads I had at home for most of my normal scrapbooking purposes.
Unfortunately, I felt like it was a bit of false advertising. When they showed up, they really didn't seem to be any longer than the "normal" length brads I had. They appear to be well-made, so I'm sure I'll use them. No qualms with the quality -- just feel the description was a bit misleading.
