The Tim Holtz Unmounted Stamp Refill Pockets are definitely a good deal. I had checked with my area scrapbook stores for several weeks for this product but they were always out of stock. When Scrapbook.com notified me that this item was available to order, I did so immediately. I received my order within 7 days and at $2.99 for five pockets, it's a very good value. Now, my clear acrylic stamps are all together for easy viewing in my Tim Holtz Unmounted Stamp binder.
These pockets are wonderful for stamps, I'm sure. However, the main reason I got them is for storing my Spellbinder dies. I was encouraged when I read other reviews and posters said they were of a very sturdy plastic and actually could "stand" upright. That's how I store them. Each one holds 2 sets of dies and the cardstock weight instruction sheet on which the dies orginally were purchased. Very Pleased!
I love these! My first set was a gift from an online friend. I discovered they fit perfectly in two old Franklin Planner yearly storage binders sitting unused in a closet! I decorated them with Tim' papers and ephemera and have two totally "free" binders and storage pockets! I like them better than some storage sheets for unmounted stamps because they won't let stamps fall of of the sheet.
This is a good product but to small for some of my stamps. I had hoped it would be big enough for them all. I wanted to put them all in one binder. I am planning on purchasing the binder that goes with these pockets. This means I will have to get another one for the larger stamps. I all good though. I love these pockets. They are thick and sturdy.
If you have the Tim Holtz unmounted stamp binder you need these cause the binder only comes with three. I would get at least 2 refills (set of 5ea) especially if you have an obsession with stamps like I do! LOL! Not flimsy at all. Just a great buy.
