THESE THINGS WERE A HUGE HELP FOR ME. I HAVE ALOT OF RIBBON, WHICH I PUT ON THE CROPPER HOPPER CARDS, BUT I WAS NEVER ABLE TO FIND A PROPER WAY OF KEEPING THEM TOGETHER, OTHER THAN TAPE, BUT THEN EVEN THAT WASN'T A SURE THING. I GOT THESE AND WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. NOW ADMITTINGLY, YOU DO HAVE TO WORK WITH THEM A BIT, AND YOU CAN ONLY SEEM TO USE THEM ON CERTAIN RIBBON SPOOLS, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, IT IS GREAT. I HAVE SEVERAL BAGS, ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE MANY MORE THINGS OF RIBBON THAT WILL UNDOUBTEDLY COME MY WAY SOON!
You know how you keep all those scraps of ribbon thinking that you will use them sometime? This keeps them from getting all tangled up! great product and wonderful prices here!
After winding my fibers around cropper hopper ribbon cards, I used the clips to hold the ends down. I bought these to eliminate the tangles and that's what they do.
I really haven't had a chance to work with these yet. However, I did open one package to see how it worked and they are perfect.
I wondered if the clips would really hold my ribbon scraps on the cards; they do! These with the cards are a great tool.
Why oh why would they not make these in white?? Hate the colors, love the consept!
I bought one package of these and one package of the plastic bobbins to try them out and I was hooked! (no pun intended) I can never throw away short pieces of ribbon and I use these clips, with or without a bobbin, to keep them flat and neat. When I run out of bobbins, I use a flattened paper towel roll or a folded piece of cardboard instead. The clips are great because they don't rust or catch on the ribbon, no matter how delicate. You can use the clips without a bobbin if the ribbon is thick or long enough. A great way to save and reuse all those ribbons you collect from gift packages!
These are great on the larger ribbon cards to hold ribbon in place. They are too big for the smaller ribbon cards, however.
These will break really easy. I do not like them because they didn't hold the ribbon when you had a full box of ribbons. they slide right off.
these seem to take up more room than they are worth. But, i decided to store my ribbon in a different way, so I don't need these anyway. i'm keeping them in case i can use them for something in the future.
