You will love the efficient storage of the Large Washi Tape and Ribbon Dispenser by Best Craft Organizer! Included are three large-size dispensers and one storage tray. Each dispenser can hold up to nine rolls of washi tape or ribbon. The dispensers are designed to fit the majority of washi tape sizes and ribbon (less than 2 1/8" diameter). Thanks to the easy dispensing method, there is no need to open the dispenser every time you need tape. To store ribbon it is recommended that you purchase the ribbon spooler (sold separately).
The plastic of this product is 'delecate'. I unfortunately 'droped' one of these (empty) to the floor & the Dispenser is now cracked/chipped in more then one place. It was only a short distance of a 'drop', surprised it's breaking to easily.
The dispenser itself seems good; however, with out the ribbon spooler it is a totally worthless item. Scrapbook.com should carry the spooler or delete the word ribbon so this item can be used for wash tape. I have been able to order a spooler from Canada but still have not received the item so that I am able to store my ribbon in this holder.
I found that this dispenser is useless since I cannot even open the 3 dispensers, the plastic is stiff and brittle. Would send it back but I think I already threw away the packaging. Very disappointed.
I wasted time winding my ribbon to fit in section easier said than done. Plastic breaks easy and over all was disappointed and discouraged with this product
This organizer and tape dispenser come with three compartments able to old large rolls of washi tape. A tray is included to keep the three compartments neatly in place. The three containers provide ample room for a number of tape rolls and each opens easily.
This is a great set for washi. Holds many different types and sizes. Happy I purchased but wish I’d ordered two

Will this hold the small American Crafts ribbon spools? If yes, Do you know how many rolls would fit in each container?

Yes, these should work in this unit and will likely hold 10-12 of those rolls.

Can't find the ribbon spooler therefore will not purchase the trays

This vendor was the the Scrapbook.expo which is where I bought the storage containers. He was giving away a free spooler to everyone with a purchase. While it is easy to use it is not necessary to have to make your rolls smaller. I have also torn open the spool and just wound the ribbon smaller from the inside that has worked equally well.

Are these the same holders that come in the washi tape storage kit 4?

I am not sure what a washi tape storage kit 4 is? I purchased my large washi tape dispensers as a set of three. They are nestled in a plastic tray which is stackable. The containers are approximately 6 inches long and about 2-2 1/2 inches in diameter. They hold about 8-10 rolls of washi tape. I also used them to hold some of my larger rolls of ribbon.

The last picture shows the ribbon containers going into a larger container. Are you able to purchase that container? I want/need to store the ribbon containers.
