I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A SCRAPBOOKING/CREATIVE TYPE PERSON. BUT RECENTLY I HAVE GOTTEN INTO CARD MAKING AND STAMPING AND HAVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS INCLUDING MANY STAMP PADS THAT I NEEDED SOMETHING TO DO WITH. WHEN WORKING IT IS HARD TO HAVE EVERYTHING LAYING AROUND THE TABLE. SO I PURCHASED THIS ITEM TO TRY TO ORGANIZE MYSELF. I HAVE TO BE HONEST, I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS SO CHEAP THAT IT WOULD BE FLIMSY. I COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG. IT IS REALLY WELL MADE AND IS NOT WOBBLY. MY BIGGEST FEAR WAS THAT I WOULD GO TO REACH FOR SOMETHING AND IT WOULD KNOCK IT OVER. THAT IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL. SO I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PRODUCT.IN FACT, I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED SOME DYE INK AND AM THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING ANOTHER ONE FOR DYE INK, AND LEAVE MY OTHER ONE FOR PIGMENT INK. I USE THIS FOR ORGANIZATION ONLY NOT FOR STORAGE OF THE ITEMS WHEN I PUT THE INK AWAY (UNFORTUNATELY I DON'T HAVE A CRAFT ROOM), SO I HAVE TO STORE THINGS AWAY. A VERY DECENT ITEM FOR THE PRICE. I HAVE SEEN THINGS MADE WAY CHEAPER FOR WAY MORE MONEY...I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY BUY.
I had been pulling my hair out over all of the ink pads I have accumulated for my multimedia. I happened to be browsing and saw this. I bought one along with the inserts as many of my inks are Tim Holtz.
It was love as soon as I put those inserts in (which went in easily for me with a little help from a jewelry sized flat head screwdriver). I have it hanging on the wall above my work table. Not only is it great for keeping all of the pads organized and ready to use, being able to hang it on the wall freed up space on my table!
I just ordered another one last night without the inserts for my other ink pads and I cannot wait until it is delivered later in the week! I can see myself ordering at least 1 more possibly 2 with inserts.
As to it being an unsightly black all I can say is, "Are we crafters or not?!" You don't like the facade of the organizer then cover it up with scrap book paper. I used DCWV's Royal Garden. I love the Peacock feathers running around the sides and fronts.
Since my ink collection has grown, I've been needing a better way to store my ink pads rather than keeping them in a plastic shoe box way on top of my shelf. I was VERY impressed with this organizer. It's made of very sturdy, durable plastic and houses my Stampin' Up inks perfectly. I have no qualms about this organizer breaking anytime soon. The top tray is great for storing small bottles of glitter, Stickles, alcohol inks, or just extra ink refill bottles. And it's only about 3 or 4 inches deep so it doesn't take up too much desktop space at all. I'm very pleased with this item and will probably buy a couple more.
These towers are amazing. I bought 2 of them and am going to order a third one. They are very sturdy and stack nicely on countertop and can also be hung. I filled mine up with Stampin Up ink pads and they fit like a glove. Like them alot more than the carousel tower. They also fit Tim Holtz pads with the inserts. There is a place on the top for ink refills , stickles etc. I put all my clear blocks on top of one which works great.

I wanted a case for my SU ink pads, but didn't have enough to justify paying the high cost for their ink pad holder. After some more research, I found the PortaInk case and couldn't be happier. I also purchased the inserts for smaller pads which holds my Tim Holtz Distress pads as well as my StazOn pads. I will definately be buying more cases as my collection grows. Love it!
