I like the fact that it's made out of wood; adds to the character and mine does not have splinters. It's easy to change the tape and it cuts the washi tape; I also really like the little ziggy pattern it makes when you use it to cut the tape vs me tearing freehand (totally different look). The camera print on the one side looks cute on my desk. Would have given it 5 stars if the print was on both sides. I've used it quite a bit for over a year now and it's held up really well.
As much as I love AC, Shimelle, washi tape and office supplies, this product was an awful waste of money. The design is only printed on one side and the dispenser I received had splinters coming off of it. And it was the side with the design. I absolutely cannot recommend buying this product. If I would have seen the shabby construction, I would not have bought it. Great idea but very poor implementation.
I think this is the cutest thing and a great idea. However, the quality is very poor. The wood is almost like balsa wood you would get at a craft/hobby shop. And you can see in the photo how the edges are so rough the paint peels of. Look closely where the wheel sits in the groove -- that's where paint should be but it's chipped off. Yes, it will work. Yes, I can touch it up with a sharpie. But I shouldn't have to.
