This is so adorable and I am looking forward to start using them :)
I purchased the Accucuts dies that go with this BE product last year so that I could give a home to the coins I give as a baby present. I sandwiched the coins, these are ceremonial coins, between clear acetate in the front window. I embellish the rest of the book with papers, the baby's name, and a space for a picture of the ceremony. Everyone loves the book, and I love having such a great base product to embellish.
I am a HUGE fan of the CI's Bare Element line. I have done the Brook Peek-a-Book, Gabriel Desk Organizer, Amy Clutch Purse (which I made a one-of-a-kind purse using MME Bohemia paper and crystals for my DD's Prom--saved us sooo much time from searching for the perfect bag to match her turquoise/brown gown!), and love their alterable ornaments! I wish this book was made with better reinforcement. As we all know, when you are altering something like this book and constantly flipping this way and that way to trace your paper, that alone puts alot of wear on the book. Mine actually began to tear apart by the time it was completed, and I had to use 7 Gypsies Gaffer Tape to hold it all together. It was either that or I was going to just tear the whole thing apart and use the big binding book rings to hold it all together. I wanted to give it that "beach/sand" look so I used Doodlbugs Sugar coated cardstock. I was soooo pleased with the way it came out!! I just wish this book was made as durable as all the other products in the BE line. I guess for the money, I really shouldn't complain!!
